Those household cleaners… uurrgghh! They’re harsher still when you’re scrubbing countertops and floors. Too many sprays and wipes are loaded with ammonia, bleach and phosphates. Enough, already. Help yourself, with new habits

A recent Oprah study found women “who walked an average of 72 minutes a week – 10 minutes of shopping a day – improved heart strength and general fitness, nearly matching women exercising twice as long.” Add that 10 minutes and time will add that fitness.
Save your skin
Pollution doesn’t have to be seen or smelt to be there. Homes can be filled with pollutants. Formaldehyde, fire-retardants and radon, even volatile chemicals from fragrances used in cleaners are common. But nasties can even be found in skin care products.
